How's your foot? Did you get any nasty bugs from taking that picture?

nope... no nasty bugs

my adventures with water last night were a lot less stressful than the storm chaser everyone watched last night

are we considering what Missouri did to LSU's defense a "storm effect"?

It really isn't fair after what Hurricane Leach did to it just a couple weeks ago.

Two active tornado warnings in Georgia. Nothing much to show in regards to velocity, though. So, no need in posting that one.

I looked earlier and couldn't find any that didn't take digging into NOAA weather station data.

I don't know enough about the towns around there. Were none of those posted earlier close to you?

Just got power back here in Lafayette. I had to stop following the thread and YouTube when we lost power, but I have to know how the story ends. WTF happened to the storm chaser guy? When we lost power he had left the high ground and was stuck on a small stretch of 82 surrounded by water. I know it’s in the thread, just don’t have time to look for it.

Jealous. Ours is still out off Swamp Rd.

I'm off of Swamp too. Did yours go out this afternoon too? I was pretty surprised by that

I really can’t believe a large water oak fell in our backyard in mid city.

It was great to see people coming to help my wife and I. We got it ALL cleaned up and I’ve got plenty of wood to split

Just left New Iberia. Nobody has power. For those baws that aren’t aware, Food n Fun on Loreauville Rd and Emile Verret is running on generator power. They have gas and as of 5pm they had a full case of ice. The truck just stocked it.

Mill side market (old daspit grocery) is also running on a generator if you need groceries.

Our two day total from a bit north of Ellic was 8-9 inches, depending on the rain gauge

Ours has been out since 9:30 last night I wish entergy would give an estimated time. I know saying they’re busy is an understatement, but I’m ready to go home.

Cleco just says “evaluating”. I’m not optimistic it’ll be on in the next couple days, but after Laura I thought it would be a month. Everything was destroyed, and it took them 13 days. It was impressive.
