It's scheme for depicting convection runs too hot in the hurricanes and you get giant buzzsaws with tiny eyes terrorizing as it overdoes the convention, dropping the pressure, which increases the convection, and so on.

Still not the fun of the uncoupled HMON in 2017.

At least for now, the core of Delta is very small. Bad thing for intensity, but a good thing for far flung impacts at the moment.

00z GFS is nearly a spitting image of the 18z.

A frog hair more intense through 78 hours.

This is why PAC boat launch charges you $10/ launch and the game warden camp on the inside of the lock/levee is free.

Hasn’t made landfall yet but the 18z was the Wax Lake or Bayou Teche mouth.

I'm gonna call all the old mawmaws to go outside with their rosarys and butter knives to make the sign of the cross in the general direction of this thing to doomcast it to Houston or Biloxi.

This might be a stretch for the GFS physics package but a pinhole eye before 1st landfall. Then, as you would expect, a larger eye after regrouping as it moves out in the Gulf.
