How concerned should I be around Prien Lake Park flooding? We’re down the road and across the street. We’re listed as flood zone X but I’ve heard of crazier things happening.

I think I just got my biggest gust of the night here around B.B. and Jefferson

Smoking a brisket and kettle almost went for a ride. I regret smoking this meat but it’s been adventurous to say the least.

Wow, I am not seeing that on the airport monitor. I was suspicious of it showing 50mph max gust.

Lake Charles just had a gust of 78 mph. That's pretty amazing longevity for this storm. There's still a band hanging around Lake Charles.

At least it’s got somewhere to drain being that close to the lake. Have you guys flooded before?

Not according to the maps given by FEMA but I have no idea how far that goes back.

Just lost power again. And just popped back on. That’s 6 times. I’m ready for this wind to settle down.
2 water oaks within 15 feet of my house. I haven’t been worried until the last 30 minutes or so.
