It was hit or miss in our subdivision. Our next door neighbors had severe damage, while we only had a downed fence and debris from their house.
I had fence damage from Laura but none from Lili.

Thanks — I’m on the east side so liftng isn’t ideal.

Trough coming in has enhanced lifting on the right side. You're seeing that enhance the convection.
I asked earlier this morning, but is the SW shear effectively stopping the convection from wrapping around to fill in the east side of the storm? For the past 12 hours storms have fired in the NE quadrant but can't make it any further than about 8 o'clock around the center.

To be fair, Oberlin is essentially in the eye in that still image, but yeah, those gusts are overcooked.

I haven't had the chance to look at many radar loops today. Are the storms collapsing as they try to rotate around?

Pressure readings at coastal weather stations are still only 991 millibars. There is a long way to go before getting to the 970 ish center.

I remember it was supposed to hit Lake Charles dead on I think and shifted bigtime over night just before it hit, or did id just implode? LC barely got anything from it.
Lili was weird. That one knocked out nearly 100% of electricity for over a week in Eunice but didn’t really do heavy damage to any structures. For the first half my neighbors and I were skim boarding across yards with the flash flooding.

What direction is the wind coming from in the Bluff?
Sitting in my carport watching, mainly has been from north north west.

Lake Arthur is our location. Hope to launch our weather balloon from somewhere near here just before dark as Delta’s center moves over. Stay tuned! Could get amazing video and data from the surface of the earth to the stratosphere. LINK
