Did you pick your username after the Hurricane or were you in the Delta Forces?

They’re headed to Houston for a couple days.

Took us 5 hours. I-10 is backed up damn near Iowa according to GoogleMaps and it was 5mph to the state line. Tell him to go through Hackberry for the love of God.

Waiting for the pin but appears to making the north turn, might even be right of the forecast track.
Making the turn a little early would be great news for LC.

Traffic has been insane here today. The desperation is palpable and it's fricking depressing

Best route from Lafayette to Houston at this point?

Too much work to get done to leave any earlier.

The wobble watching has begun

New HWRF right over grand lake
New HMON just east of grand lake

for reference... the final drop in the eye from the previous HH mission was at 24.2N 92.9W @ 16:34z

so while there was no plane in the eye it moved +0.4N +0.4W

so if this is the turn... this new plane got it

We’re leaving at 5am in the morning heading that way. Not even trying to mess around with that nonsense. I’ve driven through a hurricane (Humberto) before. I’m not worried about what conditions will be 12 hours out.

Any thoughts on the eye disappearing on sat? Is it a collapsed eye or just clouds covering it?
