Thank you

When I said ‘rain event’ it was more like wishful thinking and not a prediction

But y’all puss MFers saw some meme about hurricanes and 2020 on Facebook and think everything is the end of the world

I’m just saying. Don’t freak the frick out just yet. A lot can happen to these systems over the course of three days...

Tell me how I’m wrong. I’ll wait

Really?

This is what he said earlier

quote:

Don’t buy into that shite Dude is fearcasting for attention because in all likelihood, this is his last hurricane for the season Rain event. That’s all this will be

That's spreading misinformation and not telling people to calm the frick down. I agree don't get too anxious about it but saying what he said above is stupid.

I don’t know what you’re trying to say there my old friend

I'm saying the HWRF and HMON seem to be missing on the intensity already, and this is the stage where it'll get built up. So skeptical. Recon will confirm soon.

Latest Euro run is interesting. Has Delta stronger and farther west. Doesn’t start turning north until south of Cameron and weakens to almost a Tropical Storm by landfall near Pecan Island.

if I listened to Levi correctly... there will be a trough or something over Texas that will start to impart shear on Delta as it nears landfall

if it goes further west... theoretically the shear should be stronger... hopefully ripping the storm up prior to landfall when combined with colder water temps

hopefully

Euro has been more west than GFS with most of the Gulf systems this year. Will be interesting to see where the two models eventually come into better agreement with each other. That is usually about 48 to 60 hours out. In this case that would be by tomorrow night or Wednesday morning.

Good look at the 12z GFS ensembles. Couple of important notes:

1. Intensity is maintained in nearly all runs up to landfall.

2. Individual ensemble runs that are near the TX coast eventually move into LA despite their SW location

Bingo. Only good thing is it is still 4 days out. I am sure it is going to move... for us of course east is what we need unless this moves way west into Houston area or more west but that is highly unlikely.
