Yeah it's down a ton in strength. A few models picked up on this but not really to this degree except the one posted pages back that rds commented on. We'll have to wait and see what the NHC thinks.

geauxmedic did post the computer model that had it weakening to cat 2 towards yucatan then when it hit louisiana basically a cat 1 50 miles inland.

18z HWRF had the pressure rising to 962mb around this time.

I think it is a 2 in truth but the NHC certainly won't drop it below a major. 130 would probably be the first step. Maybe only go down to 135 but note it's probably way too high. They like the steady approach to dropping wind speed.

Yes, the cone is updated at 4am, 10am, 4pm, and 10pm.
