The Democratic Left is aligning themselves against The 2nd Amendment before the midterms and the Culture is taking their cues from them as expected . I like the strategy. Should ensure Republicans Control the House and pick up another seat or two in the senate.

Honestly, all the NRA does is pour millions of dollars into campaign funds to make sure politicians favor their best interest.
The 2nd Amendment assures us that we are able to own guns, but like anything else there are some things that just makes sense to do. This is the problem with our political system. Special interest groups prevent politicians from doing what's in the best interest of the country, as a whole.
A lot of people die from automobile accidents every year and the car companies continue to find ways to make them safer. Cancer kills many people every year and the medical world continues to find ways to better treat people, etc. I don't see why the NRA can't push for a few laws that make sense. At 18 you can't get a handgun but you can get an AR15. Push for more thorough background checks.

See, this is wrong. A 17 year old person can join the service and die for our cause, but yet can't drink nor buy a hand gun. That there shows how screwed up we the people of the greatest country in the world are.
For this, I'm going to catch hell. Being 60, what I see that has lead young people down these paths are video games. I really feel that the games has desensitized many as younger kids when they should of never been playing those games.

The NRA spends more on gun safety, and donates more to gun violence victims than all average progressives combined.
They just happen to also spend money to ensure your constitutional rights are protected. Which is a fricking disgraceful need anyway. Private institutions having to spend ungodly amounts of money to make sure our government doesn't erode our rights. What irony.
