Delivery driver is blocked by Karen cough cough I mean HOA President

Travis Miller, a home appliance and furniture delivery driver, captured the encounter on Facebook Live while driving through the neighborhood of Ashford Hills.
“I want to know where you’re going,” says the resident whose car is blocking Miller’s way.
“It’s none of your business. I’m going out, that’s where I’m going,” Miller replies.
“Got me blocked in so I can’t leave,” Miller says to the camera, showing the man’s white Subaru blocking the road out of the gated community.
“My name is David Stewart,” the man blocking him says, adding that he is the homeowners association president.
“I don’t care what your name is, move out the way,” Miller says.
About thirty minutes in, another homeowner joins Stewart.
There is nothing like a Karen being the HOA President. There is a special place in hell for them.

The HOA guy is a bit of a douche, but the driver wrecked a tree by his own admission, so I'm not sure what the fuss is about.

Well, it entirely depends on what kind of insurance the HOA carries when someone brings a suit against them. If they don't and the HOA President states he is acting on behalf of the board and not just himself, he could legally go after the whole board on a personal level.
Hence, owning the frick out of the HOA.

Even if he wrecked a tree, are they legally allowed to detain him just because dude is an HOA President? False imprisonment or false arrest is restricting freedom of movement when it doesn't involve something like shopkeeper's privilege, voluntary consent, or law enforcement making a lawful arrest.
