To be fair, cold, dry head is kind of a bummer.

Yikes, rain, followed by snow/sleet and then more rain and then lows in the teens.

That’ll be fun.

The OT Lounge trying to figure out the temperature anomaly prediction map is like Saints Talk arguing whether the troughs in the super dome are hand washing stations or giant urinals.

Well that hardly seems like an arctic blast.

Should artic threads get their own bingo card, this comment should be on there.

Am I understanding this correctly -

GFS has a significant snow event through the Deep South for the middle of next week

Euro showing not-insignificant (30-40% for N Georgia) of snowfall of greater than an inch in that time frame

Euro also showing an ice storm for the following week?

I got it from here, and they updated it to -6. Still crazy but maybe we won't all die.

Damn dude. It's a temp anomaly map. It says it at the top. Meaning, departure from normal.
In other words, it won't be -9 near San Diego and 11 south of Orlando.

12z GFS keeps BR below freezing for 4.5 days starting Tuesday. Temps bottom out in mid-teens

Becuase of the snow and sleet it is projecting.
Without 2 ft of ice on the ground temps won't stay below freezing. It'll be around 40 for the high.

They're talking like we'll get rain here in Kentucky with maybe some snow on the back end.

I guess that's surprising to me given the temps we're seeing right now. But, I guess it could warm up a touch for us.
