Lot of truth bombs in there.

It was definitely a set up. And not the first of its kind either. The old Southshore ambush has been used before. Lynn Nunez is another that comes to mind.

Sure it happens everywhere but in Louisiana the bulk of the population has been conditioned over the years (arguably since the huey long/Leander perez days) to accept it. Not shocking that slimeball john bel edwards and his clan is somehow involved in this whole charade.

Including, Washington and Tangipahoa Parish or what the New Orleans stations refer to as the NorthShore.

Yeah dumbass and in the river parishes it’s the same last name in almost every elected office, and same or worse corruption in Nola, BR, Lafayette - name a place where there’s not. Many said places don’t even bother to hide it either.

What are you talking about my man? Do you think I’m disagreeing with you? I’ve known about illegal shite since the 80’s when it comes to the so-called elected officials on the NorthShore. Up here, it’s not really the last names of elected officials it’s the last names of the money behind the people that are trying to be elected.

What's scary is that if you hit the nail on the head those that I mentioned will use governmental power to screw you to the floor. Walter Reed's office used to do this for them with an assist from Strain and to a lesser extent Donald Villere.

I had a lawyer buddy who handled a real estate dispute some years back and ran a foul of 2 of the families I just mentioned. His client would get visited by these guys on a regular basis and harassed by the Sheriff and Covington PD . Their favorite modis operandi was to call you at night after 9 pm and "talk" generally it was veiled threats of what they "may" have to do....legally of course. When they did it, they always had a judge ready to sign off....on speed dial.

Yeah Sheriff Smith has literally had at least two people arrested for talking bad about him/the SO. One is a good friend from HS and his federal lawsuit against smith is going well.

Is that the guy who was dragging his office across the coals over the Nanette Krentel investigation?

If so, Good. Smith has protected Stephen Krentel and his brother for too long. What is sad is that people will ignore his incompetence come election time .

Bruce wasn't an ideal citizen. It's known in Covington that he signed off on bad loans for a little cut of the pie. He also was a terrible family man. I feel bad for the kids, but they don't know the whole truth or they don't want to acknowledge it.

And I don’t get all of the Rolex confusion and saying it is suspicious “because it wasn’t a robbery.”

The wife says he definitely left the house with a thousand dollar Rolex on. The NOPD doesn’t have it. Uhh…..sounds like it was taken by the killer to me (along with the wallet and phone).

She didn't deep dive into Google Street View's feature to view the same spot at different times. Not a big deal.

This clearly shows the shop re-opened after the fire. Looked like part of the sign was lost but you can still read Big Tyme Comm

Was funny that guy that was a witness or whatever said “people from over here in the East don’t just have guns and kill people.” Do what??…haha

And I don’t think this Delia person gets that it is pretty rare for other people over there to want to do a lot of talking to authorities about ANY murder. They don’t want to get capped in retaliation. That part isn’t a conspiracy, they were paid off etc.

In the end, I don’t know what happened but there is some New Orleans East mentality missing in the story telling.

Similar to the Nanette Krentel case, it sounds everyone believes that they know who's at fault (the person who had the most to gain from the situation), but there's no hard proof.

Yeah they pretty know who killed her. But I don’t think they have really been trying to prove it either

I wish him well, but I suspect that his attorneys whomever they are will drag this out as well.
