Dear Baton Rouge police officers (traffic related):

Please station someone near the two Perkins Road intersections of College Drive and Acadian. There are always inconsiderate a-holes who insist on blocking the intersections during rush hour just so they can pull ahead into the traffic in front of them. Then the light turns green and traffic cannot move. Aaaarrrggghhh! Personally, I can think of some very creative punishments for this. They must be guilty of at least a couple of traffic violations. Please help! Pull these jerks off the road!

This is really bad at Perkins and bluebonnet with people taking left from Perkins onto bluebonnet northbound. I usually lay down on the horn and don’t let up.

It’s frustrating, but just accept that BR traffic will never improve in any way and government authorities will never try to improve the situation and people will always block intersections out of frustration at not going anywhere.

It's a NOLA trash thing. Started happening in BR after katrina.

If I make it into the intersection while the light is green it isn't my fault if I get stuck there when the light changes. Tell the people in front of me to get out of the way. I can't see the future.
