Upvote. I hate this, and can't imagine being so inconsiderate to others. It baffles me.

I fantasize about having a huge diesel truck with a giant front bumper and literally plowing right through them, to watch the expression on their faces when I make contact and whiplash the frick out of their necks, leaving them a pile of metal shite and having to take the bus.

I would contribute money to a gofundme account to anyone that would one day just lose their shite and do this.

Either a mediocre attempt at a troll, or a complete shite bag.

Not sure which.

Yes, you literally and absolutely can. You can see for miles in front of you that traffic is stopped, not moving, and a red light ahead. You know you will be blocking an intersection when cross traffic gets a green light.

You just don't give a shite and feel like it's more important for you to make this light cycle than it is to allow any other human being who is waiting in cross traffic to move forward. It boils down to this. Thinking ONLY of yourself. It's the new America.

People like this only makes the traffic worse. Like the assholes on the new bridge going west, who is getting off at the plaquemine/port allen exit who drives the middle lane and right at the exit they get into the exit lane..

If everyone taking that exit would just get into the right lane as soon as they can then everything would flow much better. But the people who let these frick offs in are just as bad IMO. They know someone will let them in. I am not one of them people. I go out of my way to make sure they can't get between me and the vehicle in front of me.

There must be a computer program/algorithm that can optimize light cycles.

I am certain there is and there are cameras that can see how many cars are at lights and how long to operate on green, etc. they obviously need some adjusting.

College drive on to East 10 is the worst. it takes 3 or 4 light cycles in the afternoons, mostly because eastbound college exiters clogging up the intersection.

The worst intersection for this is Siegen and the I-10 east off ramp. It’s a fricking shite show with people on Siegen blocking the middle.

Please station someone near the two Perkins Road intersections of College Drive and Acadian. There are always inconsiderate a-holes who insist on blocking the intersections during rush hour just so they can pull ahead into the traffic in front of them.

This happens at other intersections of Perkins as well. Essen and Bluebonnet are especially bad. I get the frustration that due to the traffic on those streets often only 1-2 cars get through per cycle -- but to make it worse by blocking the oncoming lane is a special brand of a-hole.

Yeah baw, it's your fault. The law says that you are to have cleared that intersection by the time the light changes. The fault belongs to you, and only you.

There's a difference between traffic suddenly stopping up ahead and traffic slowly crawling across an intersection.

Most of the time it's the latter, and those are the people that need to have their DL suspended for being selfish pricks.
