I put 150k on a YJ and had no issues except needing to re-charge AC one time because a fitting came loose. Everything else was routine maintenance.

i've had a 93 YJ since 1999 when i graduated high school. i love it. parts are cheap, and i can do a ton of the work myself due to essentially unlimited how-tos on youtube and various discussion forums.

that said, the YJ was kind of a piece of shite when Chrysler took over the Jeep name. putting 150k with only minor issues is pretty decent, and certainly not unheard of, but it's the exception more than the rule. did you have the 2.5L or 4.0L? the 2.5 was way underpowered and for that reason tended to last longer without many problems. the 4.0L was a badass little engine at the time (mine still has the 4.0 in it), but they definitely had more problems.

there was a 4.2 carbed engine too, until 1991. i dont know much about it other than it is considered to be pretty much a dog.

No, in a lot of ways they’re worse.

I have a 2022 Bronco and fortunately I locked at the price when I ordered it. 17,000 miles and absolutely zero problems. I have the soft top.

Be patient, you get it for MSRP. It's what I did for an Outer Banks edition.

That's the version the Mrs is building with V6, sasquatch package and soft top addition.

That’s insane and absolutely stupid. $100K for a used Ford Bronco, lol.

There are some mint Broncos from the late 60's and early 70's that will go for double that.

Broncos look cool, but i hear a reliability nightmare. No way in hell I’d actually buy one.

That’s GOOD for a Ford! Might want to consider selling now.

It's a stupid looking vehicle that pretty much only girls and compensating hipster men drive.

to each their own. they kept it box-style like the old ones.

Pretty much every suv looks the same these days except for the wrangler and now the Bronco. Now I believe both are way overpriced new, but its a diff option that people like.

shite they came back out with the blazer and it looks like a Cherokee or the mazda suv.

They are POS right now cool your jets. Never ever ever buy a first year model Ford. It’s a beta version. Give them a year or two to work out kinks

You can order one and skip the markup. That’s what I did but it took a year and a half from when I reserved one until it was delivered.

My grandfather passed about a year ago. 2 years before that he ordered a brand new one. Got to drive it for about a year. Now it just sits in my grandmothers garage. She will take it out occasionally.

It is actually a very good vehicle if you live in NOLA. (I drive one)
-big tires to handle the craters in the roads
-short wheelbase makes parallel parking easy
-can crash into any pothole and not have to worry about cracking 20+ inch rims that are on so many cars.

And everyone saying it’s a girl car, you are just projecting your jealousy
