My favorite music venue in town, and one of the best in the nation. The Basement East.

Middle of the night, not hyped day, strong tornado, big urban areas.
That's the worst case.
Heart breaks for those in Nashville this morning.

They are about 35 miles SE of Downtown Nashville.

My Daughter lives in east Nashville. Called us at 1 am in the morning freaking out. Her apartment complex got hit but she is okay. Scary shite and as a parent you really feel helpless in that situation. Thank goodness she is okay.

At least 9 dead. Significant damage.
We had a lot of wind and rain. Warning went off in the early AM, but we're about 15 miles south.
Prayers to those impacted. This is a bad one, similar to the one in '98.

They are built to rotate with the wind. Basically they will swivel to keep the wind load at a minimum.

Friend of mine had a tree fall on his car.
Glad that was the extent of it.

For believing in what's going on in our climate? Wow.

Take your climate bs elsewhere. Typical prog, never let a good catastrophe go to waste.

For bringing your bullshite to a non political thread, moonbat.

It doesn't make sense that they didn't issue a warning for Nashville earlier. They were tracking that tornado at 11:44 last night.

Are those cranes being manned or are they on some sort of program
They are designed to do exactly what they were doing to minimize the surface area of the crane that is affected by the winds
