It is lazy.
Whataboutism is the laziest of arguments.

What's the story on this Dayton shooting?

I've heard the FDE ones are more accurate. Lol
Accuracy and a stock 10-22 should never be in the same sentence, even using Eley Tenex Ultimate EPS.

What was the motive, really? One of the victims shares his surname.

According to Beto and Pete Buttgeig say the biggest threat to our nation isn’t guns, but “white nationalism” Sigh.

Is anyone seeing that one of the victims was the sister of the perpetrator

Someone mentioned that the sister and her boyfriend were two of the victims

I saw it. Need to look into the data more. The "mass shooting" definition is notoriously vague. The mass shootings that are discussed are the ones where random folks are shot up in large numbers. Domestic and gang stuff, among others, count when they shouldn't.
I said yesterday that I don't believe the US should change because of a few incredibly rare incidences, and I stand by that. I don't want guns confiscated either, but it may happen one day if the best people can argue in support is Whataboutism.

Fair enough. But guns will never be confiscated without America splintering

You're right.

You got any proof to back upnthat statement
Go dig up mass shootings since 2012(when the NRA acknowledged the skyrocket in sales of ar15s) of more than 10 victims and compare the kill ratio. And I'm talking about when someone picks a location and goes kill people. The pattern of using the AR is proven. And victim count way up
And Using the 'definition' of mass shootings is bullshite.
Mass shootings statistics are bullshite when it's including drive bys and shite like familicide or shootouts at a nightclub.
Case and point. Chicago had two mass shootings since Dayton yesterday. You idiots are counting those incidents in the 'weapons used' argument.

The creation of whataboutism in and of itself is very lazy and hypocritical.

Don't have one. Don't think it's a problem that can be solved without worse unintended consequences.
My only point in this thread is how stupid people act when trying to defend what ultimately is a constitutionally protected right.

Yup that’s about what I expected.
What’s the patch on the right.

While a Bellbrook student, Betts was suspended for causing a lockdown by writing a “hit-list” on a bathroom wall, Baker said, “I would not dispute that information, but I don’t want to get involved any more than just making that comment.”
A woman who went to high school with Betts recalled the hit-list.
“I know he made the list,” she said. “I’m not sure who the names were on there...He had a plan to shoot up the school.”
When she first heard about the shooting, she said Betts’ name came to her mind.
“I guessed it might’ve been him just from that list,” she said.
She added that Betts was bullied at the high school and that he seemed “pretty normal” after he “got some help from making list.”

I’m guessing that the parents were nowhere to be found and not interested in their kid’s lives at all.

Not sure if discussed. These are the rumors but My local friends and family are saying potentially racial motivation. Sister was at club with black boyfriend.
