No, I agree with his comment. Not the idea of actual confiscation.
His comment was to end a constitutional right and confiscating firearms. You said said you support it, twice. So would you say handguns shouldn't be a right since they are used in 9000+ murders and half of mass shootings including the 3rd worse one in US history?
I don't think you understand a lot of mass shootings and homicides and I'm not trying to say that in a derogatory way. Most people who tend to support restrictions usually don't understand them.
Fyi the 9mm is the most prevalent caliber used in homicides. The same semi autos you like to tinker with was used to kill 32 in Virginia Tech and that was with hunting capacity of 10 rounds.
I've said before and will continue to say it what constitutes the severity of a mass shooting is determined by not the object but first how many people are there who can or can't flee and how many people can or can't fight back.
Awhile back a guy with an AR15 tried to commit a mass shooting at a Waffle House. Couple were shot but a young man grabbed the gun and successfully ended it. I've posted just a couple incidences in one of the threads about CCW holders actually stopping possible mass shooting, one of which was earlier this month.
Just think about this. China has had mass killings with knives multiple times with several north of 20 killed.
It's why laws pertaining to restrictions fail. It's long overdue we look at our society and understand where we went wrong.

Did you read his actual comment? Clearly not, because he wasn’t in favor with ending a constitutional right. And did I ever say I support it? No- I said I agree with his comment.

I think you misunderstood. They both agreed that the only way to stop firearm violence is total confiscation and draconian anti gun laws. It's not going to happen, nor were they saying it should.
Basically most anti gun legislation is token and symbolic.

Lol wut? We are in the most stable period of our country. Don't let the drama queens get to you. The 60s, prohibition, civil war, and settling of the west were much more dangerous periods for the average American.

There’s an image of the shooter on Twitter, but he isn’t wearing body armor.

This. I was just saying the other say that this crap had slowed to a trickle...and no terrorism on Europe as well. This us very strange for it all to be happening at once after things have been so quiet. Can't explain it, but weird.
As far as confiscating guns, you will never find all of them, and and you can print them on a 3D printer, so there's that...also, other cultures seem to do a pretty good amount of mass killings with machetes. You can't stop this by taking guns.

From Jason Isbells twitter and I agree 100%. I vote Republican but I feel like it’s always these Baws on tv and in the country that refuse to face the bigger issue.
Both sides will argue and nothing will get done. Laws need to change, period.

The UK banned guns after a bunch of children were shot to death at a school.
Example of knee-jerk reaction. Let me help you out, considering you are both poorly educated and of menial cognitive ability, in understanding that the UK didn't have a school shooting in the 100 years before Dunblane. So what exactly did the law prevent in the years since? Nothing. I bet you also parrot the similar false talking point concerning Australia too.

Passing do-nothing laws is a positive to you? The stupidity behind your logic is astounding.

I don't know what you're responding to but you're right.
This is the most prosperous and peaceful time in our nation's history. And at no point in our history has our society been so polite to those who disagree with us. Despite how it's portrayed in the media.
Americans by and large have a sense of decorum when it comes to discussing the big 2 of politics and religion in mixed company and we typically get along well despite the political differences.
People suffer from recency bias. Social turmoil today for instance isn't jackshit compared to what it was in the sixties but to hear alot of assholes tell it, we're the on verge of another civil war.

I guess you love living in the country here now where we have 47 genders, 250 mass shootings, Don Lemon crying, and police chiefs apologizing for criminals... congrats on that I guess

Have you seen the psychos from the left that are attempting to gain power? They want full governmental control. Then, you would have a big issue.

Because revolutions never happen right? Im not saying we are even close to a revolution, but just look at how quickly venezuela went to the shitter. Those people didnt have guns and their government literally just ran them over in the streets.

The media, nor the general population, know the difference between real body armor and cheap tactical vests.

What's the definition of an "assault weapon"?

Which goes completely out the window online, even when discussing something inconsequential like sports. The internet has improved our lives immensely, but there are some severe negative consequences. One of them is validating and enabling the fringe elements of society, be they radical Muslims, teenage outcasts, incels, or political crazies. The poliboard has some of that, and while I dont think any of them are dangerous, it wouldn't surprise me if one or two were actual true believers. And there are sites on the internet that make the poliboard look like Mr Rogers Neighborhood.
I don't have a solution and I don't advocate curtailing free speech. I think its something we'll have to live with, like guns. The genie is out of the bottle on both.

Who are these people that live under this constant concern or fear their government will turn on them? What's that like, I wonder?
We're free to do practically anything we want to do but somehow, the government is gonna turn right under our noses and slap on the shackles.
The frickin' guy is right. People who go out and buy guns in this day and age to protect themselves from the government are fricking loons.
Have you ever met some of these people? They're all complete fricking weirdos man.
