What ever happened with that whole debate? The Senate approved but nothing has been done in the House. What’s the word?

Need DST year round. Not looking forward to losing even more evening light soon.

DST was deemed racist and the idea was shelved.

Farmers lobby put up a big stink. People forget that the US still produces a lot of crops. More sunlight in the morning has always been better for plants. They were willing to go with the change after harvest but making it year round will be a deal breaker.

I have never understood this argument, there is the same amount of daylight either way.

The combines farmers use now have lights and GPS, they don't need daylight to run.

Try again.

But it getting dark when I'm still at work sucks. Sucks even more when I can't get anything done outside when I get home from work because its already night time.

Its dumb to take a time of the year when it already gets dark early, and make it get dark even earlier.

DST has nothing to do with the sunlight plants get in the morning. Whether it's 7 am or 6am, plants are still getting morning light.

Almost like politicians were posturing to cater to the absurd social media rage.

It's not hard. It has nothing to do with the amount of daylight. It has to do with a normal work day.

This I understand, but the farming reason makes no sense they just have to shift their work schedule by an hour.

Not something that directly puts money into lawmakers pockets. Not a priority.
