Going to New Orleans and choosing Dave and Busters to put carnival food in your mouth is one of the weirdest choices imaginable to me, but have at it.

How do you know they aren’t there to play games?

You're in New Orleans and you go to Dave and Buster's when there's a Walk-On's right down the street?

Looks like all games are working.

When this placed first opened up, everyone said it was going to be ghetto trash and fail quickly. Looks like that did not happen.

It's the OT man. They said Main Event would never make it in Baton Rouge.

But the best was when the OTards were certain that even Top Golf would never make it in Baton Rouge. That is downright comical in retrospect.

They don't know jack shite except what the "cool" OTers tell them is edgy and cool to say or believe.

Make sure to give them your card when you pay for your food, easy way to get 50 chips on your next visit.

I’ve gone and had a good time, I’ve also gone and checked out because of the clientele and wait time for a drink. Just depends. No different than anything else in BR or NOLA.

Went once and only once for a work lunch event

Sat around for 45 minutes without a single person acknowledging the 15 of us existed and so we left

That sucks, my location is awesome. They’ve even brought me drinks on the game floor but that place is dangerous, way too easy to drop some serious cash.

Been here for 30 min so far. It’s clean, not crowded, and not at all ghetto

How is that possible?

Kind of pricey.

I have been there a couple times, but during the day on a weekday. I am sure that the weekends are a trip.

Isn’t it great living in a region where things like movie theaters, restaurants, etc are off limits after dark?
Yeah, no one goes anywhere like movie theaters, restaurants, etc. after dark in NOLA and surrounding. Everything shuts down at dusk.

Friend,

Thank you for the timely update. I am doing a tour of The Riverwalk today. We had reservations at GW Fins tonight, but upon reading your informative post, we canceled and will be heading to Dave and Buster’s place. We have never been. Is it as good as Chuck E Cheese? I think some people on the OT are afraid of their shadows.

Let me tell you that The Riverwalk and Quarter are buzzing today! There is a large youth basketball tournament being held at the Convention Center and the families are having a great time. It is a real shame some deprive themselves of the family joys of New Orleans due to irrational fears.

Hope to see some of you there tonight!

Yours,
TulaneLSU
