I've been on around ~50 or so first dates and have maybe spent more than $200 on all those dates combined. Why the hell do so many guys do the boring dinner/drinks thing? It's expensive, everyone does it, and it isn't very fun.

Secret is doing things that don't cost money. Taking dogs to the dog park, taking dogs to go walk by the water or go walk downtown. If a chick bitches about not grabbing dinner/drinks, then on to the next one.
