Thanks for all the replies. I'll admit I've only gotten through about half since I headed off to work shortly after I started the thread. Great ideas though and it makes me feel more positive about the future in terms of finding a woman. I know it won't be easy and I'm definitely working on myself physically and mentally (one poster was right in that I do lack some self confidence with women and I do tend to overthink it). But I appreciate all the good advice so far.

They're out there, you just have to temper your expectations. If they seem too good to be true, they're crazy. Do not knock them up or decide to get married quickly if you do meet a seemingly normal woman with no baggage. It's there, she's just hiding it.

I hooked up more in my 40’s than I did in my 20’s. I did Tender app at the time and met some women through that. Also met women from just going out with friends.

Been doing it for years, been to half a dozen different cf gyms and never experienced anything like this. Then again I go there to workout and I don’t sit around the water faucet gossiping. People are attracted to people that are happy and have their shite together.
This... I am going through a divorced that will be finalized this year. what I have learned is women love a guy who is happy and has his shite together. Also a huge plus is if you are funny, that has worked the best for me more than anything else. Being a professional with a good job is something they look for as well, but I think the above is more important to them.
