Something about dorritos. They have a new BBQ flavor. I love BBQ. We should get some ribs. Do you like ribs? Ribs is a funny word. So it sternum. It's the middle of your rib cage. My dad was stern when i was a kid. But i think all parents are. I might be a parent one day. Used to eat ice cream with my parents. You ever notice ice cream would be cool if it was called frozen milk.

Well, the clinical neuroscientist Dr. Amen says it hurts the hippocampus. I guess he wouldn’t know anything.

Are you sure that this isn't a delusion brought on by your schizophrenia?

Why? Did anyone suggest alcohol is safe?

What is your point?
it's legal and marketed in many stores in every state. Easily accessible if in a fridge and is used in celebrations and christenings.

There's always been an association with schizophrenia and substance abuse in general.

Not all substances act the same.

Right. My point was that schizophrenics tend to be poly substance abusers. e.g. it's not necessarily the drug inducing schizophrenia...

Take a drug test on someone admitted to an inpatient psych center with off meds schizophrenia and you're probably going find multiple drugs in the system.

Lol He directly linked it and couldn't make it any easier unless he cut and pasted the whole thing and cue 'I ain't readin all that' posts.

I'm checking out of this thread, too many OT noctors posting shockingly retarded shite.

He posted the news article, not the research publication the news article references. I followed the first couple of hyperlinks within the article itself which did not take me to the research article.

So yeah...

I'd be interested in seeing that. I don’t know why it would be controversial. Everyone knows you can smoke yourself stupid. Lots of those people are way spaced out even when they arent on it.

I worked for three years with inpatient psychiatric consumers, and there was a strong correlation between childhood abuse and schizophrenia. Did the abuse cause it? I don’t know. Marijuana use was also common according to the charts. I’m sure there are other common correlations.

Causation is a tricky thing

It isn’t the same genetic thing as it was when I used to smoke it back in the 80s.

I’m not really surprised that people with mental health issues are seeking out potential treatment via drugs. I’ve seen enough episodes of intervention to know that.

I would love to see the data from that study. It's not the first that correlate THC use with schizophrenia. But all those previous studies have been shown to be flawed. Schizophrenics use THC when young to self medicate and the studies ignore that fact.
