Like anything else it affects everyone differently, but it’s not surprising a psychoactive drug triggers certain things in the brain that can be potentially bad for the user.

I mean drinking too much water will kill you too.

It boggles my mind that as a society we view smoking cigarettes as terrible because of how bad cigarettes are for your bleach. But we have no problem with smoking pot, which has far higher levels of carbon monoxide and tar and thus is even worse than smoking cigarettes.
You can't eat cigarettes and get the same effect. Most of the educated people I know who partake do so through edibles.

There's always been an association with schizophrenia and substance abuse in general.
I didn't see the original article/research study linked but my guess is that this will boil down to a correlation vs causation effect, which isn't necessarily determined. All to say that as usual you can find articles and studies supporting the health benefits and the same for the detriments and the truth is probably in the middle.

Not all substances act the same.

It's all so fricking annoying.
One side claims it's a miracle.
One side claims it's a devil drug.
It's a plant that has some medicinal properties. Smoking anything is harmful, something with medicinal properties included.
I don't see the harm in legalizing it other than it fricking stinks.

How much carbon monoxide in my gummies?
Well I guess you won’t have to worry about going through the ordeal lung cancer while you slip further and further into the madness of schizophrenia. So you’ve got that going for you.

such BS propaganda, and the OP spreads it like its real

weed doesnt cause schizophrenia, but many people who already have neurological or nervous disorders, do smoke weed to help keep it under control so they arent out attacking and killing people, just like any other drug, it is used to keep themselves under control.
by the same metrics you can say Ritalin causes ADHD since most of those with ADHD take it
