You've been to that Tropical Storm Central Facebook, right? That idiot that runs it is a wishcaster. And there are several people, regardless of how much they've been shite on by the tropics, still get adrenaline from these systems heading their way.
And even when the models show a very low chance of it impacting their area, they look for any sliver of info to latch onto, and try and convince you and themselves that it's heading their way.
That's a wishcaster.
