Then you feel extremely accomplished. Got up at 7 AM, went to get a tire replaced and also an air filter and cabin filter (because frick the dealer where I got my oil change due to having the service coupons). They quoted $81 for both (and that was just parts I assume)?

Where I got my tire, they charged me $31 total for the parts (I assume) - hard to factor labor with the tire replacement but I walked out of tire place spending $155 total and that includes the $10 warranty thing they sold me on.

Then I went walking for 2 hours which felt great because the weather was so nice.

Then to cap it off I got a job offer at around 5:20 PM....

What a day off. Can't wait to serve my boss.

You wasted your day and got screwed on a tire. Win?

Not sure how paying $75 for a tire got me screwed? But somehow, I had 3 good tires and 1 bad tire... even the dealer was saying how I must have someone I go to for tires for that to be the case (I do).

I always go for medium range... I had Nankangs, then Sumics (still have 3 of these), and my new one is a Waterfall? I was kind of surprised at how cheap it was...

Some guy sticking his tongue through a hole in a gas station bathroom wall doesn’t count.

It doesn't sound like you got any errands done besides changing a tire and filters, which easily could've been done on a lunch break?

I’m not sure what I’d do if I had a job that I couldn’t leave and run errands throughout the day.

That doesn’t sound like a very accomplished day

Other than the job offer and the tire change, your day was shot

I got to enjoy walking outside for 2 hours.. on the riverwalk. That was probably the highlight of the day. And you see young college chicks.

Good shite, man

Sometimes a useless day is good for the mind. You can just take it easy and not have to care about life

Who has to take off to do that kind of shite?

You got the wrong job.

I will say I’m not the “Always take a shite on the clock” kind of person.

That’s a bit extreme and I ain’t walking around the rest of the work day potentially with a dirty bung hole.

I feel like I use half of my PTO to get errands done.

Love a personal day to crush errands. Feel so good after. I do that about once a year so the stuff really builds up

You know you’re old when you get excited to get new lawn equipment.

I got a new lawn mower and leaf vac/blower last month. I love those things. Now I can cut the grass without having to worry if the mower will keep running and I can suck up leaves and pollen pods without killing my back.

Negative, it’s the implication.

There ain’t no way to clean up following downloading at work as well as can be done at home.

I shower immediately following dropping the kids off at the pool.

That is a hell of an accomplishment. I think Southern University in New Orleans offers a doctorate in Filter changing but you have to minor in wingnut Theory(righty tighty, lefty loosy).

Then WTF do you call low range, something you pulled out of a tire fire?
