All of it for retail, not AE stores. Raised prices last week.

Allen Edmonds has an image issue. I've been waiting for this shoe to drop.

That's not a surprise. 200 blue jeans, 400 shoes, and 100 belts. How many folks can really afford that? Aside from all the OT millionaires, of course.

Haha

Only millennials buy $200 jeans.

Who’s buying $500 shoes these days compared with the workforce 20-30 years ago? I’m sure not as many. I know guys between 30-40 years old that barely own one suit, let alone 400.00 shoes.

I have a closet full of $300 and $400 dollar dress shoes but I rarely pay full price.

Right, because more people are going to DSW, Nordstrom Rack and Stein Mart.

I'm 42 and own one suit that I haven't worn in a over decade. I don't have any $400 dress shoes either. Dress at my job is business casual.

Own 10 suits, have to wear a suit and tie every day for work. The only pair of Allen Edmonds I own are a gift, they are literally falling apart. I just buy $90-100 dress shoes. $400 for dress shoes is dumb.

Their quality has gone to shite recently FWIW. My shoes from 6-7 years ago are still going strong. The ones I got last year are already falling apart.

I can get about 2.5 years out of them. Guess I need to find another dress shoe.
