Yeah, agreed. I thought this idiot kid would be going to juvenile hall for about a year after extorting someone for a year. That's why I didn't think he was smart as he appeared.
Same with the teacher. I mean really, how many non-married middle school teachers have $30,000 to blow? I'd venture to say very few, and she could have convinced him she didn't have that much money.
