Noise concerns is just stupid. Lots of other things are noisy as well. Why is that an issue? Everything needs to be quiet now?

Exactly, these dumb Karens want to live right on top of each other in some Dallas Burb but want it as tranquil as a National Park..... Can't have it both ways.

I remove the mufflers off of all my equipment just to annoy the neighbors.

the major noise(and it doesn't bother me at all,) where I'm at is from the landscaping company contracted by the HOA to maintain the common areas, they are out six days a week, I can tell what time of day and day of the week depending on the sound of the mowers, blowers, and weed eaters

they'll get exemptions I'd bet, just like they cities, and HOAs apparently, are exempt from watering restrictions

My neighbor has a Stihl electric mower. He's an older fellow and I cut his grass for him with it once. He insisted I use his mower. That thing sucks arse.

All leaf blowers should be banned.
Use a rake or a broom you lazy fricks and quit annoying everyone within a half mile radius with your 120 decibel pussy arse blower.

Sounds like a poor person/poor living choice problem. Maybe they should ban cookie cutter neighborhoods with houses 5 feet apart and paper thin walls.

I’ll never understand why it takes them 20 minutes to blow off a small driveway and 40 feet of sidewalk
have you never experienced the satisfying serenity of blowing leaves or pressure washing a driveway?

they’re all working from home now… that’s probably a big reason why this became a thing

Naw, but the city can't even enforce parking regulations so the reality is people will still use gas powered stuff.

Exactly what happens when Californians move to your State.

One advantage of Louisiana being a shithole, liberals won’t move here.

Your state is already full of liberals hence why it is a shithole, and thus, nobody wants to move there.

That's a good point, but still, it is unreasonable to expect people to not use gas-powered lawn equipment.

I read a study that showed most of the California transplants are actually changing their voting ways when they moved east.

It also highlighted that 20-30 year old Texans are the ones voting these policies. Probably from being brainwashed at colleges IN Texas.

Crazy but might be something to it

The Ghost of Huey Long still haunts the state. Populism is the cancer still hanging around.
