Exactly. There's no structure or leadership for the movement, it's not really a movement IMO.

BLM is the violent hand of the NAACP.

If there was a peaceful predominant white group that was peaceful and had good intentions of freeing the white people oppression of today's liberal political movement and it was indirectly associated with a side bar of white trash doing evil acts, you bet your fricking arse there would be no political segregation between the two groups.

Which is flat out wrong. Are we supposed to just run with it?

As far as I'm concerned anyone who even sympathizes with that group is a racist terrorist that deserves to have their brain matter sprayed across the wall just like anyone who sympathized with ISIS.

GT, I understand you're pissed off (I am too) at what happened last night bro but your comments are not appropriate.

Aren't all cops being linked to the shootings?

That's exactly my point dude. You can't say this guy wasn't a part of BLM. All we can base it off of is his words, which were identical to BLM, except for the fact that he wanted to kill cops.

Although I've seen a ton of posts on social media advocating killing cops with the hashtag ending with #BLM

Can we get this thread back to info about the event please. Too hard to scroll through all the other stuff. Y'all make another thread about something y'all want to debate. Thanks

none of the major news organizations have published that name...could this be a hoax?

Is that the "REAL" LA Times twitter handle?

If you zoom in on his profile picture, both vehicles have TX license plates.

BLM's sole purpose is to stir shite up on election years to increase black voter turnout in tight races.

Everyone who has been paying attention to politics knew there would be an "incident" drawing protests (violent and controversial enough) to capture media attention this summer. That's by design.

It's tragic that the rhetoric and BLM movement has now inspired an attack on police officers......and in a city that hasn't had a police shooting.

So was it a long sniper/gunman? Or were there 4 like everyone thought last night? Or 1 shooter with accomplices?

They don't have to shoot into the crowd. They were certainly firing at the shooters, and there could easily have been ricochets. For you to just say unequivocally that there is no way anyone but the shooters hit protesters is asinine.

I had to search intensely over the last 6 pages but I found a post of yours with which I agree. They returned fire in those videos, or at least it sounded like the did in the initial shootout. If the shooter was elevated and at a distance as has been reported, I think it's reasonable to assume some of the police fire was spray and pray for lack of a better phrase. I don't blame them in the chaos, but it's plausible an innocent civilian could have been hit.

According to news outlets, 4 people total. He was the last one left as he was on a standoff. The other 3 were arrested and not cooperating.
