There were thousands of people at there. One interview I saw had a vague reference to these taunts. Every other video and interview was cordial and peaceful.

The right to assemble peacefully is afforded to them in the Constitution.

I don't want that right taken away because some terrorists decided to go open season on Dallas PD.

That's what I think. He strayed pretty far from cover a couple times in that video. Plus, when you're on what is effectively a suicide mission, you're going to be a little more brazen.

The planned getaway and not shooting it out at the end is what makes this so odd-- it doesn't fit with our normal conception of terrorism (ISIS style) or crazy nut mass shooting-- the only thing that it really matches up with is American Domestic Terrorism-- McVeigh, Roof etc-- those guys tried to get away then gave up when caught because both of them had a message they wanted to send-- have to think these guys are the same.

Could be a maniac that knows he has about a 5% chance of surviving this night so he doesnt give a shite and is running on adrenaline. On the other side, you have a cop who knows multiple cops are down and nervous as shite while he is getting shot at. He is hiding behind the pillar wondering wtf and the maniac hasnt thought twice about stopping and is in close proximity of him regardless of his position.

I was just responding to the 12 comments, mostly by 1 guy, that this guy was some special trained para guy. I thought people just ran with that like the news does

I hate Fox, but they were killing it tonight. But I had to turn it off once they unnecessarily played Obama's speech from last night.
