The smugness of the pedo is
I think the dad handled it alright.

The Dad could not have used Stand Your Ground to kill the old man. The old man could have easily used it to kill the dad. Both when confronted in the car and at his home. The Dad could never make a case that he was threatened or that he could not flee; seeing as he was the one who initiated both encounters and the old man was in or on his own property both times.
Also is there proof the guy was a pedophile? Or was a he a perve who was taking pictures of the hot women/with kids? Not defending him but the old man while odd and creepy didn’t break any laws unless he was a registered sex offender. But the dad pushed a lot of boundaries that bordered on him breaking more than a few.

You should trust your instincts. Check out the book "Blink", by Malcolm Gladwell. Trust your gut. It's not like you're a prosecutor building a case against him.
I do and I will.

So this is weird but a paparazzi sneaking around taking pics of celebrities and their kids aren't? Should those people be put to death too? Because this is the exact same situation.

What law did the old dude break that required the cops? Who did he injure by snapping a picture of people out in public?
Granted its weird but I don't understand the over the top reaction.

Can't believe some people in here are actually defending the picture takers actions.

I would say it is different because the motive of the paparazzi is obvious they are there to make money, they would take pictures of feces if they could make money. This guy is just a weirdo.

Taking pictures is not against the law. If you don't want your picture taken then stay in your house 24/7.

Is he a pedophile? You can't go to people's homes and just start yelling and making demands. He was in fact taking pictures, but there was no unlawful activity being filmed. The dad was closest to being unlawful. Is it weird? Yes, but unless I missed something not against the law.
Thats the sense I got too. Get the frick off my property would be my statement

not defending a pedo, but what evidence was shown that the guy is a pedo, the dad is lucky that when he "ordered" alleged pedo to go get the camera, the dude didn't come back with a fricking 12 gauge and blow his arse away

I can't believe some people think being weird, creepy and taking pictures justifies killing someone.
No one is arguing he isn't creepy or even possibly a pedo, but absent any proof beyond being strange and taking pictures he didn't do anything illegal.

Dad confronting him the instant he sees hi make a creepy pic? Alright. But track the guy to his home and confront whoever opened the door first and the homeowner. Depending on tone he would get greeted with a pistol.
Especially here in Houston where home invasions occur weekly. You CAN'T defend a perv. But let's say the dude is just a photography nerd? If you call me or accuse me of being a pervert or child predator and I know that I am not. I would go batshit.

this, dude in the video seemed kind of weird, but that's not a crime, he didn't really act guilty, seems to me he would be shitting himself for being outed, I've got a friend that works for the state(LA,) whose job is removing abused children from homes and finding them a safe environment, and he's a huge photography nerd, takes pictures of everything, but he's as right as rain

I would not have filmed anything. I would have just kicked him in his nuts with my jackboots and called it a day. Arrest me? So be it. I've got plenty of attorney friends.
We had a creepy dude riding around our neighborhood daily. All the mothers were aware of it and him and watched. I saw him one day and stopped him. He said he was just riding around looking at houses. I told him all the mothers on the block knew who he was as they had run his license plate. Told him they thought he was a creep and perhaps he shouldn't ride around here anymore. Haven't seen him since.
But he did drive a red cavalier.

I fricking looked for a hour but can't find the 20/20 special where they had a guy taking pics of kids at a park, and people confronted him immediately...the next day they sent a woman to the park to do the same....and no one said anything.

That's called murder.

Pfft guy said if he deleted the pics he wouldn't call the police....then after said he was going to call the police.
Just can't take people at their word anymore.
