Man this group of people. Just last week two black cyclists ran stop signs on me. One of them the guy blew through a 4 way stop like a retard.
The other guy was just holding his phone out listening to music not paying attention to shite just rolling through intersections, riding down the wrong side of the street, etc..

I don't think it was staged but without a doubt think that guys camera saved him from an extreme arse beating (or worse).

As someone who is the same level of petty as this cyclist and who has found myself in confrontations with similar people, it does not feel staged. You think you're making a simple, fair point but the people you deal with are entirely irrational and would sooner shoot you than admit they are wrong.
As to why they were stopped there, people do strange shite all the time. I live in a city and can't begin to count the times daily I see someone doing something unfathomable.

My favorite part was when the dude in the car seemed to have a moment of clarity and realized this wasn't a big deal and very calmly walked up to the dude and in a very calm voice said something like, "Come on man, why you doing all this?" in such a manner that seemed like maybe he'd de-escalate the situation.
Then the literal moment the biker started talking, he just yelled, "I DON'T GIVE A frick"
