Good. The cities that make excuses for these thugs should suffer.

Just wait, in 2-3 years we’ll have “pharmacy deserts” where Medicare/Medicaid folks are being underserved. And then we’ll inevitably need some government programs to remedy the situation.

Drove past the ex CVS location at the corner of David Drive and Airline Highway in Metairie yesterday and its closed and now a Spirit Halloween store. That branch was built brand new maybe 5 yeas ago. The CVS on Airline and Central is a dump.

Thanks to PBMs stand alone pharmacies are not profitable

Isn't CVS Caremark its own PBM?

Just think of all the trees saved by 900 stores not printing 6 foot long receipts.

They are a UPS drop point
Went in to drop a package, no one in front of the store
Walked around, didn’t see anyone, walked up to front to see if there was a bell or something
By this time there were a few people waiting to check out
Went to pharmacy to see if they could call someone to the front, was told there was a shoplifting incident & they were in the back with the cop

Made no sense to me

I must be doing this wrong, I never stole at CVS. I've been paying the whole time. I feel like a dummy since you obviously don't have to pay at stores now.

And if you live in Cali you can shoplift up to $950 retail and not a damn thing will happen to you. That's a lot of random shite at CVS/Walgreen's. In related clown news, the governor behind that brilliant law is/was heavily considered by the Left to replace Potato in 2024 as POTUS. We have passed the Rubicon, this nation is utterly fvcked on so many different levels.

Creating a pharmacy desert where the left will claim it is a form of redlining discrimination due to racism.

they may say this in public, and it may have a little to do with it, but realistically is the decreased reimbursements, DIR fees, and saturation of the market with their own stores that is the real reasons for them closing these stores...

He’s going to win in a landslide, women voters will pull the lever for him since he is “good looking.”

Take a look at what their real estate is worth.

I believe most of them lease the real estate. I know that’s the case for Walgreen’s in the southeast.

They were clutch when we had babies and needed formula or children’s Tylenol at 2:00 am, but that’s not my problem anymore.
