But it's cool, they have insurance!

They account for these losses in their yearly budgeting!

Here's the thing about places like CVS or Walgreens:

If I need something from them, I will never ever think about getting online from them. The thought would never occur to me.

I'm either going to the store or getting it on Amazon

But but, where will minorities, without vehicles, buy their supplies?

They've gone from retail deserts to food deserts to now medicine deserts.

How much longer before the water utilities peace out and they turn into actual deserts?

Is it shoplifting or is it that they put a Walgreens or CVS on every fricking corner there’s an inch of space open?

Same here in Idaho. Wonder what the common factor is for the stores they’re closing?

At some point, the CVS and Walgreens type place will switch to being pure pharmacies. When I've seen branches in hospitals and the like, they will have some of the OTC meds and that's it aside from the prescription side. The convenience store method will be gone in time. Aside from being way overpriced, that will cut down on the riff raff crowd if they only offer OTC and prescriptions.

How many people are already using on-line pharmacies?

I find that CostPlus is cheaper without an insurance co-pay than CVS with insurance co-pay.

Same here. And guess what, there isn’t one retail item locked up in my CVS. Weird.

Title is highly editorial.

CVS just bought all the Win. Dixie pharmacies as well. Not sure if closing them counts in this number.

Yes. When their was a shortage of 55 gal drums of lube on Amazon during the pandemic, I had to resort to ordering individual packs on CVS online.

They also aren’t closing in the Memphis metro. Even though the demographics would suggest that it would be the type of place to deal with these shoplifting plagues

It’s almost like when the law is enforced the system works
