Some British folks were talking to me about visiting America. They had the idea to use buses to explore our vast nation.
I had to explain to them that our public transportation system is not quite the same as theirs.

I did a similar thing. I was young, and stupid. I needed to get from BR to Vancouver, BC. A flight was about $550. I had the money but was pretty vigilant about what I would spend it on. I saw a Greyhound commercial that said "Anywhere we go for $69.
For some reason, I thought the savings was worth it.

I rode one from DFW to a small town in North La to pick up a truck one time, wasn't bad at all.

The only time I took the Greyhound was in college from Nashville to Montgomery with a stop in Bham. I was the last one to be loaded on the 2nd stop, I’m assuming that’s a popular route and there were many more that day, but frick the last thing I wanted was an extended layover at the Bham Greyhound station.
