Very clever prank. The fact that it has to be decoded gives it an air of legitimacy.
I'd definitely look into the "social media users" who exposed the sound code, though, as well as anyone else who was clever enough to decode any part of it. People like these want everyone to know how smart they are, and if no one is finding the answers they encoded, they might tend to help people out by revealing them.

I haven't seen an update on this since last week. Has anything new been found? They also don't think it's a hoax because of how complex the code is, but I really haven't followed the story since last week.
