Cremation. Used to think otherwise but as I’ve gotten older, funerals should be celebrations of life because there is hope in Jesus.

For my mother, we had a viewing and service, in a rented coffin, then cremation after.

As much as I love bbq I hope it does when my cremation takes place.
Kids have been advised the celebration will need to be festive and spare no expense. My ashes can be spread in a place or places of their choice.

There’s actually a video of a sky burial in Tibet.
It…. Looks extremely unpleasant. There’s a monk skinning cut up body parts and throwing it to hordes of vultures with other dead naked people in the background lying in mud while they wait to be cut up and skinned.
Supposedly the skinning process makes the vultures even more fervent to eat something.

It was unpleasant to watch. Some dude with a machete walking around and skinning your limbs. Probably not the easiest thing to be your last memory of loved ones
