Same with the Inca. The work they did compared to the old people isn't even comparable.

If you’ve ever had the opportunity to visit the great pyramids and then seen the other pyramids attempted by later pharaohs, you’ll see with your own two eyes that there is no fricking way those people’s ancestors built the great pyramids, it’s laughable.
No it's not. It shows how fragile certain technologies and crafts actually can be. Your statement is similar to saying that there's no way that the same type of people who now make roads that get pot holes after a year could build something like the Cathedral of Notre Dame. Our society now places more value on quickness and cheapness.
Similar things happened to past societies.

Yea, it’s very obvious they rolled in and built on top of existing structures

When I think 30 years ago, I think 1970.
In 2018, 30 years ago is 1988.
I don't think of Star Wars as old, I was excited to see Luke in the latest episode of Boba Fett.
Star Wars is now 45 years old.
When I watched Star Wars, I perceived World War 2 as "a long time ago". 45 years before Star Wars, it was 1932 and Hitler hadn't even taken control of Germany yet.

Crazy to think when the Pyramids were built
They were built over 2000 years before the Romans. So the Romans looked back to them as we do to the Romans

by saying its the year 2022, we really do ourselves a disservice in placing all of human history into context. we are finding remains of a permanent settlement in turkey that dates to 9500 BC. think about how much has happened between the year 1 and 2022, and we have found permanent settlements that existed 9500 years before that. insane to think about how over 80% of human existence in permanent settlements happened before out calendar even began

In a couple years we will be as far removed from the end of WWII as WWII was to the end of the Civil War.

I doubt that. Technological advances lead to better building and “making” materials, such as plastics, that take longer to biodegrade. Yet we have bones of prehistoric human ancestors but no strong evidence of the use of such materials?

That’s how we have technologically advanced. It’s not the only possible way to do so. Who is to say that in a thousand years we won’t have developed a material that is far better than plastic but much more biodegradable?

How long do you think bones last?
The earth has been around for 4.5 billion years. We might be the 1st, 2nd or 100th iteration of humanity.

I also think I read somewhere where tests were done and the pyramids had been underwater at some point?

Maybe a massive flood hit them, ripping off the out layer. There are lots of people bucking the gaslighting on ancient Egypt. A close up of the quarry next to the sphinx was shown to 40 geologists. They all concluded it was done by water. They then showed them a panoramic view of the same quarry wall right next to the sphinx. They all threw up their hands and said they weren’t going to touch it. That’s the kind of controlling nature around these things. It hasn’t had significant rain or water there for thousands of years before they claim it was built
