Could be a crazy story or a crazy relative(s). Come tell your dysfunctional online family about your dysfunctional biological family.
I have an uncle who legitimately believes we have a one world govt elected by all the leaders of the world’s countries working with a galactic coop of aliens to fast forward human evolution to meet the standards of this peaceful galactic group. Once we do, they’ll send down ships to introduce themselves and give us all sorts of new technology. He even sends text updates to me and my cousins about how we’re progressing.

My cousin thinks that there is an active war on christmas and that her freedom to wish people merry christmas is at risk.

She couldn't be more right. Wishing someone a Merry Christmas is now classified as a micro aggression.

I just heard several people on the Disney Christmas program wish everyone Merry Christmas

The people who complain about that usually are the ones throwing out racial slurs at the Christmas dinner table.

Anyone offended by “Merry Christmas” can go to Hell.

When I was just a little kid back in the late 50's I remember one time when my aunt was in her kitchen cooking stuff for the evening meal. She had pots on the stove and stuff in the oven.
My uncle was a bit of a heavy drinker and had fallen asleep on the sofa and woke up still pissed up drunk. He walked into the kitchen, opened the oven door and pissed into the hot oven, obviously thinking he had made it to the bathroom.
My aunt let out a string of vulgarity that would have make a sailor proud and commenced to beating him with her broom. Everything in the oven was tossed and wasting food really ticked the old gal off something bad. It took a long time for that one to simmer over.
I still get a chuckle when I think about it.

My grandparents are prepping for end times. They were convinced that it was gonna pop off at any moment under Obama.
They are also concerned about Muslim terrorist attacks in BFE North Alabama

My grandparents just came for lunch. I've already been asked to drive an hour to their house before my 5 hour drive home because my grandpa can't remember the pass code for his phone. They were supposed to bring it, but forgot it so now I need to drive 60 miles to unlock it because they don't understand the person on the phone trying to explain it to them.

Not family but a guy who's a pretty good friend got a citation for simple assault yesterday over a minor fender bender. He's a solid, upstanding guy but he just lost it. Tis the season.

No one is trying to take your "Merry Christmas". I swear, people make up some dumb shite for attention.

I agree it is being exaggerated. I work with a Muslim lady who wears a hijab and she has been cheerfully telling everyone Merry Christmas for two weeks. A lot of our Jewish patients have been telling us Merry Christmas and a few of them brought us gifts or cards.
To my knowledge, not one person was offended when we said Merry Christmas. Maybe only people in places like California and New York get offended by this.

It's just like anything else, it's a few hundred idiots that scream on the internet and retard boomers think it is the entire generation.

I got punched in the face by my dad once while I was protecting my sister
That was pretty crazy
One of the handful of times the cops were called on Christmas Eve
