Crawfish boil help needed

Long story short, I get invited to a crawfish boil on the north shore for this weekend and the guy putting it on, needs a headcount to know how much to buy.
My question is, would you trust someone from the northsore in knowing how to boil crawfish correctly? I don’t view them as true Cajuns, and really don’t think they’ll know how to do it right.
Plus I don’t want to be that guy that tries to tell the host how to cook
