No shite. It'd an illegal roll, but the apparently allowed it multiple times.
It's the casinos own trick, they'll wait until someone is getting a drink or is already toasted and then short them on the money they won

This isn't being smart enough to be the system. It's 100% cheating

How sliding works:
As one prepares to throw the dice, the other two would throw down last-minute, complex bets on a specific number that distracted the dealer.
As the dealers focused on the bets, the thrower, who had positioned the dice in his hand with specific numbers facing upward, would slid the dice across the table, instead of rolling them.
The dice would come to a rest with the predetermined numbers still facing upward, and the throwers collected the winnings.

even if nominally 'legal'.
Craps clearly says the dice must be rolled. Not slid.

I just watched dice sliding on youtube and it seems like it would be pretty easy for the dealer to pick up on.

Some of these dice sliding teams are really slick. It's all choreographed. They look for a weak crew and a boxman staring at skirts.
They slide the 6 and bet the field and the props heavy at the buzzer.

Shouldnt be illegal. Call it an invalid throw or whatever but no way this ought to be a crime.

Can't physically manipulate gaming devices to change the odds. Equivalent to marking cards.

No shite. Asians hate to gamble.

How is it cheating/theft if you didn't do anything illegal? I'm no gambler but if dice sliding is just sliding the dice on the table instead of throwing, shouldn't the dealer be the one getting in trouble for missing it?
If you do something to alter the game so that you will win every time you play.. I am pretty sure that is illegal.

So Are the rules posted stating sliding is illegal for all players to see???

setting the dice at a value and sliding the presented value across the felt while a partner distracts the stick man or dealer.
Isn't there at least 4 casino workers/dealers minimum at the craps table at all times? (not even counting the pit boss)
How on earth would one of them not notice he was doing it consistently enough to win $56k?

So, theft by fraud shouldn't be illegal?
There is a lot of stupid going around in this thread.
