How is it cheating/theft if you didn't do anything illegal? I'm no gambler but if dice sliding is just sliding the dice on the table instead of throwing, shouldn't the dealer be the one getting in trouble for missing it?

Manipulated as in slid one or both dice instead of throwing it. Possible that his crew distracted the boxman and dealers enough on a few big throws to keep them guessing. But not good enough that they didn't have the eye in the sky look over their betting and throws.

It is illegal in the rules of the game, but you're right about the table missing it

They should have let me in on their scheme. I could have distracted the dealer by fricking up left and right like I normally do.

The thing about craps is there are other players whose odds were altered as well. It's not just the slider and the casino.
I always thought craps throws were supposed to hit the back wall.

so dice sliding I just watched is pretty slick. One dice rolls and the other slides.

You can also spin one of the die as you slide it. That makes it less obvious.

ETA I wonder if the casino has contacted the people who lost money during the scheme. Seems like they should be reimbursed.

LOL, I doubt it. They may have made out like bandits if the guy was just throwing to make points or hardways, or playing the field.
