I’m in Vegas for the LSU game, and last night saw a bunch of people having a great time around a craps table.
So I took a free “lesson” from the pit boss and bought in this morning.
Instantly I realized the pit boss had not told me everything about the game, but in hindsight I believe that even if I knew everything about craps, I would have lost just as much money in 10 minutes.

Playing just the pass line has better odds than playing just black or red in roulette. If you’re a beginner, do that. You’ll pick up the other rules and join in on the camaraderie.

I didn’t make a single field bet.

The only thing worse than an opening 7, is a 7 on the 2nd or 3rd roll, after you’re good and committed.

The pass line is no friend of mine.

How much did you lose?

Boring CSB: I went to Harrah's once for a friend's bachelor party. One of the guys separated from the group for no longer than 5-15 minutes. Really I hardly realized that he was gone. When he came back, he had already lost $200 at craps. Probably not much to the Ballers of the OT, but it was still crazy to me.

Go find d the Dragon Poker game with all the Asians. I like to stand behind them and watch, they start getting nervous.

Craps is fun as shite when a dumb girl celebrating her 21st birthday rolls for an hour hitting numbers left and right

Standing behind Asians playing any table game is asking to be cursed out in a foreign language. And especially the little old ladies.

Craps is great fun and if you know how to bet some of the best odds in the house. . When the table is winning everybody is cutting up . The problem with craps is you have to load up each new roll and so it takes lot to play properly & when you lose you lose big.

Don't think that's right. I think that your best odds are supposed to be baccarat from what I've read. Have no idea how to play. After that is black jack if you can do the whole card counting thing.

EDIT: Looked it up. Apparently blackjack, craps, and baccarat are all very close in odds.

I was in Vegas in July. I've been to LV several times, many trips to casinos, etc and never played craps until this past July in LV.

You can win a lot, but also lose a lot especially if you are not 100% sure of what you are doing. Here are some helpful tips to learn before playing again.

- Get the book Craps: How To Play Craps by Steven Hartman. You can get it on Apple books. It's keeps it simple.

- Download the app Craps. If I recall there are several craps apps, but this one is just called Craps. The app has two red dice with a blue background and on the bottom it has the word CRAPS. It's a free game and you can use it as a visual for the book.

Thanks for the advice, but the next time I play there’ll be flames and the wailing of damned souls around me.

So like a casino, but with flames.

It’s a game that takes money to make it. You can also lose your arse in a hurry. I’ve lost $100 in 4 minutes and turned $100 into 5k in 30
