Craig Ferguson Late Late Show Tribute - Hes not dead

Been a shitty run on the OT lately with election fatigue, junk sales and divorce updates....There was a thread I posted in where ranking people talk show hosts as "the best". The best was Johnny Carson, hands down. If you're younger that 45, treat yourself to some of his highlights....greatest entertainer of all time.
that being said......
Figured Id introduce some young posters to my favorite, and the best to do it since Johnny, is the Great Craig Ferguson.
A show after midnight with a robot, a horse, a racist producer (joke) and some of the most fantastic monologues and interviews you'll ever see that would make BahBah WahWah jealous.
Dude had no problem letting you know he was a recovering alcoholic and made many a self deprecating joke about it.
Some VERY memorable episodes, but tops for me was eulogizing his mom, brought tears to my eyes.
But I would literally laugh so loud my wife would either kick me out of the bed into the living room, or come into the living room and scream GO TO BED!!
The shitty thing is that no streaming service offers these....a national travesty!!
Best I can do is this guy on the tube who has categorized guests and their visits, so you can see all of the times celebrity A visited in one clip.
Do yourself a favor and watch a genuinely good person get people to disarm and have a good time, and laugh at the stupidity! What did we learn, big cash prize, high 5 freeze frame, guess what the queen is thinking, the fake fireplace, and...this was so damn awkward and funny....have some fruit, where hed offer some random fruit to the an audience member.
Nice page with clips and explanations

I played that show a couple times. Genuine, funny dude. The hot chicks that come out and perform were also the makeup department.

I suppose it could have all been an act or just one of the show's schticks, but he had a way of getting smoking hot women to blush (and possibly become a little hot and bothered)

He's such a beast.
You can get into a legit youtube hole just watching clips of him flirting with female guests. Completely fricking up your life can engineer amazing charisma, I suppose.

I actually read his autobiography years ago. He's just one of those extroverts who was an indie punk rock star and fricked up his life completely. It's 100% not an act.
His band was called the Dreamboys and included a future Dr. Who (Peter Capaldi).

One of their songs
Also, for the Red Dwarf fans, he was the apparition Confidence in "Confidence and Paranoia".

His Britney Spears' Monologue was also great.

The Jennifer Tilly episodes are some of his best.

He was awesome. Only late night guy I've watched in the last 20+ years.

Yeah he was good. I actually didn’t know the show had stopped running but I don’t watch much tv.

What happened? Did he pass away?

After the Sex Pistols first couple of concerts in Manchester, almost everyone in the audience started their own punk bands. They all said the same, "If those guys can get a concert gig, I sure as hell know that I can."

One of the best to do it for me. Ladies absolutely love him and it's fun to watch, but he's so good at engaging with his guests regardless of the topic of conversation. When I think about other shows running at that time, you had some boring and awkward interviews on Letterman, you had forced laughter on Fallon, you had Conan who is funny but relies so heavily on injecting his over the top mannerisms while reading off of his cue card... meanwhile Craig seemed to just be himself and it was genuinely funny and interesting. Miss that show
