I eat the long crackers, with butter.

I put them in my pockets and eat on them throughout the week

Me too. They aren’t as common as they used to be.

One of my mother in laws never bought a Sweet N Low in her life. She cleaned out every restaurant she stopped in.

What’s the deal with every cracker being stale?

If you eat at seafood restaurants south of I10 (no table cloths, lots of boiled seafood offered) you’ll still find butter and captains wafers.
And yes, I love em.

Crackers + Butter would be a great name for some trendy new Bywayer joint

That’s like some 80’s stuff. I can’t think of the last time I went to a restaurant with that on the table.
But back then I devoured them immediately

Crackers with tobasco or crystal hot sauce is my go to.

What restaurants still do this? I don't think I've seen this done in about 10 years.

Do any of you sit down and look on your table and find only Lance captains wafer crackers and individual pats of butter? Do you partake and open up the crackers and coat with butter? Or is that gross?
Haven't thought about it in years. Loved it
I'm shocked this isn't some app for a restaurant here
Crispy Pork Belly, Choy Sum -19

Whatever happened to the Lance melba toast onion and garlic flavors? Best cracker if there ever was one

I eat as many as I can. What I don't finish goes in my pockets

That was the good ole days. Don't see it too often now.

A lot of seafood restaurants in Louisiana and Mississippi do it

I used to do this, but it seems like I haven't seen them at a restaurant I've been in a long time.

Those were pretty good

Let me see, in Jackson, Ticos, the Mayflower, Elite still serve them.
