Can anyone compare Cox and Eatel from a personal experience? I don't care as much about internet speed as I do tv channels, options, and price. Cox is about $230 a month for high speed internet and all channels plus 2 premiums without a contract. That's 1 DVR too. Just curious how they compare with the latest rates.

If you're concerned about reliability and accountability, Eatel wins in a landslide.

If you're concerned about speed, Eatel wins in a landslide.

If you have the option to choose Eatel in your area, do it and don't look back.

I have been a loyal Eatel fan for some time, but they simply can not seem to fix the tileing issue on our TV service, it is getting old and I am looking to switch to cox, anyone else with the same problem?

Same with us. Pay about the same and have been thinking about switching for a while. Just not convinced enough to pull the trigger on eatel after being with cox out here for years.

Eatel has much better customer service and reliability. I have consistently had far fewer headaches with them than with Cox.

You have an opportunity to join the Eatel master race. Take it.

Eatel has great customer service, reliability and fast speeds. Truly a diamond in the rough. They shite all over cox.

Eatel's light wave is legit too. It also has a great user interface and Cox's interface is more than well a few years behind eatel's.

this, when you call you get someone with a little common sence. you dont get Schnana in atlanta with an attitdue on why you are calling her during work hours.

How is the channel lineup and hd comparison? What about cost?

I like Eatel better but they have issues also. First, you can't stream anything pretty much that requires a cable login b/c Eatel is never an option. Mainly I run across this with HBOGO on apple tv, watchespn, disney junior, etc.

One thing that really aggrivates me about their DVR is that you can't group titles unless it's a series that is recording. So if you randomly tape a bunch of the same show, there is no way to group the titles.

These are obviously very small issues, their customer service is so much better than Cox. I would go with whoever you get the better deal from.

Hello, I work for EATEL and would like to know if I can have someone contact about your tiling issues. I can be reached at traedotrussellateateldotcom. I just need to get some information from you first. Thanks!

I can't speak about HD, but the channel lineup is solid. You still get CST and you also get Eatel 4 which covers a lot of AP High School Football games. You also get NFL Network and History II (which has actual history programming in addition to lots of Ancient Aliens and almost zero reality shows) without getting a box.

The biggest downside to Eatel is the lack of streaming capability through ESPN 3 and HBOGo. However, new seasons of HBO shows can be streamed through OnDemand, but not old seasons.

Other then that I'm about to drop em since my bill just went up again for the 5th or 6th time in the past year.
