Covid was a bigger bonus to fried chicken places than the sandwich.

Every single place that serves fried chicken has had insanely long lines since Covid. With the outages it's even worse. Now you'll see ten cars on the side of a major street all in line just to pull into the drive thru line.
Covid has to be the best thing ever for Canes, Pop-Eyes, Chic-fil-a and even Churches has a line.
It's just crazy. You can go right trough the burger places, but I haven't had Pop-Eyes since March because F those lines.

Is the Popeyes sandwich that good? I've always stuck with the Chick-fil-A spicy deluxe.

There is a KFC and and Popeyes near me. Since Covid, Popeyes has a line that is spilling over into the street daily. All the other fast food places are fairly busy during rush hour. KFC is empty at almost all times.

I've seen three near wrecks caused by car lines spilling into the roads at three different Southern Classic Chicken locations in Shreveport.

Fast food restaurants have their inside dining closed. So, the handful of cars that are parked for dine-in are now in the drive through lane.

Good ... let's add to obesity, heart disease and what not so that when some do get covid, they'll have underlying factors.
