People here joked about it daily but this really happened at one of the hospitals I was working with at the time.
A woman came in to the ER after being hit head on by a drunk driver. She was in terrible shape. You could easily see she wasn't going to make it. They sent her fricking blood off to be tested and when it came back positive they put her on the Covid death list.

1% may be a low number but if you were to wake up tomorrow and hear that you and your family have a 1/100 chance of dying, you still don’t feel too good about it.

Where the hell is all of this new Covid mania coming from? I'm seeing a lot of anti-lockdown and anti-mask talk on here, when I don't really see anyone trying to push lockdowns or masks anymore.
Before hitting submit I Googled "Covid 2023 US Lockdown" and now I see it's just Alex Jones causing a stir and getting his followers worked into a frenzy that there will be lockdowns and forced masks again.

It wasn't a 1% death rate they're talking about, genius. It was 1% of the deaths reported as COVID deaths. A fraction of a fraction.

The article in the OP is horribly written, but it states that only 1% of those deaths reported as a "Covid Death" were actually caused by covid. Not that covid has a 1% mortality rate.

They probably do because they were all morbidly obese living shite lives because they were so generally unhealthy. I’m sure the people care who lost their jobs because they refused to get an idiotic vaccine, lost loved ones to suicide, have kids who are going to have developmental issues because of staring at blank masked faces for the first 2 years of their lives, etc. etc.
