Have you ever heard someone openly question another person about how many kids they have or their decision to have kids? (In real life)
Yes. Many, many times. Go shopping/mall/movie/etc. with someone with 4+ kids and just watch what happens.

I'm sure if they were not affecting other people there would be no one questioning

It is funny. The look of shock and confusion on their faces like "wait...why did I have kids? I guess I'd never given it any thought".

I think too many people have kids to fill a void. The world would be better if more people chose not to have kids or waited until they could take care of themselves first.

I'd be willing to bet those who choose not to have kids are typically more educated than those who do choose to have kids.
I don't think I've ever heard of some poor uneducated folks saying "we can't afford kids, we shouldn't do this".
What does this have to do with my point?
Some people before you made this country what it is so you can partake the benefits of freedom. Then they had children and passed it on. What a crazy fricking idea, huh?

I do not want kids. My wife does not want kids. Didn't realize it was beta doing what you want.
We're already getting shite from relatives about it, and we are only 25.

And we would all be better off if it was the other way around... but so it goes.

So you're saying educated people should have kids to combat the rampant noneducated people having them so that we aren't left with retards running the world?

This really is a "to each his/her own" situation. Hard to say if there will be regret, but IMO, there is no wrong answer in whatever decision a couple makes provided that if the decision is affirmative, the couple has the resources to provide an adequate home for the kids.

It's a very small percentage that "decide" not to have kids. God has usually made that decision for them by giving them broken insides.

That's happened since Ancient Rome Upper class women do not want to have children. Upper class birth rate falls, they are wiped out in the demographic tidal wave It's happening in Europe now, and coming soon to America
meh.....just went to a class reunion where every single female physician has 3+ kids. Maybe it is geographical.

I love that people without children always have to remind themselves how awesome their lives are. I go on so many vacations bro.

I don't really care either way if people want to have kids. Just certain people are funny. Just like in the anteater dick threads.

Wow! Did I touch a nerve? Name calling is awesome.
Fact is if people don't want to have kids that is their call, but they typically are doing it out of selfish reasons.
Nurse - can they have nieces and nephews? Sure, in fact my Uncle John and Aunt Jan didn't have kids and I will take care of them as though they are my parents and my kids look at them as a spare set of nicer grandparents.
They didn't have kids because John's nut was blown off in 'nam and the other one didn't produce swimmers. They are great people and won't be alone in old age but there are many DINKS who are doing so because they are selfish and selfish people tend to have no one around in the long run.
