Lsu is not responsible for that area off campus

The new arena project is the only hope to save that adjacent area
Hopefully it gets bulldozed to Lee drive

I had a friend get killed in that same spot in 2007.

Same dark road and drunk drivers. Crossing Nicholson from TL was always a mental "no" for me.

What sucked is as I was at LSU, Sharlo went section 8 (after Katrina), so that wasn't safe anymore, either.

Wow. That is an absolute insult to the victim’s family and it’d be my life’s mission to ruin that judge.

Wonder if family got a nice settlement

I bet she won't be arraigned for a long time and bond will be set long before that. In LA they don't have to file an indictment for a long while so denying a person bond before arraignment doesn't work here.
that wrecks your soul that folks like this can’t came bond huh

The drunk bus was one of LSUs best ideas ever.

Below 21, isn’t anything other than 0.0 considered a DUI?

Pretty much .02% is the legal limit for under 21

With the mugshot I can now see the confusion as to whether the driver was male or female.

In fact I’m still confused, and jealous of that mustache

Lsu may not be “responsible”, but you can be damn sure it doesn’t reflect well on the school or helps in retaining local students whose parents read the news.

This is where the administration and supporters in state government need to lean on the powers that be and make this area safer. How many students have been maimed or killed in this stretch. It doesn’t matter who is at fault, people see dead students and think, my son or daughter will go somewhere else where they won’t be in that sort of situation.

Tragic situation all around. Please take a mf’ing uber when you’re hammered people. A very preventable situation.

@ OP, how close were you to the deceased? I ask because the other guy said that was his fiance and you stated it was his gf. Your friend sounds like he was a good dude
